About Niko

Niko is a 3.5-year-old, 72-pound male Black Labrador Retriever mix, currently located in Corpus Christi, TX, and ready to find a new home. This sleek black beauty loves water and is always ready for an adventure, especially when it involves exploring the outdoors. He enjoys toys, chew bones, and has a nose that loves to work. A fenced yard would be ideal for him to roam and relax in the sunshine. Rescued from doggy death row, Niko is grateful for his foster family and eager to bond with a permanent family to shower with affection. He gets along well with other dogs, especially puppies, but would thrive in a cat-free environment as he can get a little excited around them. Though not food motivated, Niko is a snuggler and well-behaved at home. He enjoys hiking, visiting parks, and exploring less crowded places. Niko can be a bit nervous in busy areas, but his affectionate nature makes him a great companion. Plus, he’s quite photogenic; you might want to set up his social media!
