About Cashew

Meet Cashew! This delightful 1-year-old, 39 lb Boxer mix is always ready to greet the world with a big grin and his tongue out. He was found abandoned at a park and quickly showcased his goofy personality in foster care. Cashew loves making friends, from humans to kids, and he’s been a star at adoption events, wagging his tail and showing off his playful nature. Treats, especially a pup cup, are his ultimate motivation! His favorite activities include walks, fetch, and tug-of-war at the park. This smart boy knows his commands and has been working hard with a trainer, learning to self-regulate and socialize through structured play. After recovering from tibial repair surgery, he’s ready for running and jumping. Cashew is house trained and crate trained, with a personality that's a perfect mix of energy and affection. He’d thrive in a home that keeps the training momentum going and would love a dog companion to play with. He’s currently in Houston but can be adopted through transport to Wisconsin. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
