About Salma the Beautiful

Meet Salma the Beautiful! This lovely Canaan Dog is one year old and currently waiting in Somerset, NJ, for her chance to find a forever home. Salma is a resilient pup with a heart of gold. After a tough beginning on the streets of Amman, Jordan, she was rescued by a kind soul who recognized her desperate situation. Salma has shown remarkable growth since then; she's smart, loyal, and learning to trust again. This medium-sized girl is working on her leash manners and catching on quickly with her foster mom's guidance. Though she might be a bit shy initially, her gentle nature shines through. Salma gets along well with other dogs when introduced properly and would benefit from having a confident canine sibling to help her navigate new experiences. While she hasn't been around cats or children, her sweet disposition suggests she would make a perfect addition to a loving family. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and, most importantly, house trained. If you’re looking for a kind companion to share your life with, consider welcoming Salma into your home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
