About Forest

Forest is a striking mix of Husky, found wandering in public game lands. This lively boy weighs 64 lbs and is estimated to be around 5 years old, clearly in the prime of his life. He knows a bunch of commands, including "sit", "down", "shake", and "speak," all delivered with enthusiasm. It’s quite likely that he’s house trained, too. With his stunning brown and chocolate coat complemented by apricot highlights, Forest showcases those classic Husky traits—stand-up ears and a muscular physique. While he's a little skinny now, that won't last long as he gets settled into a loving home. Currently, he's enjoying the care of volunteers and making friends at the shelter, but he's ready to find a permanent family. If you're interested in meeting Forest, you can visit the dogs from noon to 3 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, or by appointment. To start the adoption process, it’s a good idea to submit an application along with any recent vet records for your current pets. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
