About Pappy Van Winkle

Pappy Van Winkle was discovered as a stray in Milwaukee, in such rough shape that he needed a complete shave. He also had one eye removed but now proudly belongs to ALIVE Rescue's "wink club." Currently in a foster home, Pappy gets along well with both dogs and cats. He enjoys being held and follows his humans around, wanting to be close and cozy. Crate training has gone smoothly; he’s adaptable and calm when left alone. Plus, he’s a massive snuggle bug, always ready for some cuddle time.
