Meet Chopo 🐾 Chopo is a 3-4-year-old cuddle bug with a big heart and a vibrant personality. He was found in the woods of Poinciana just a few months ago and has come a long way. Now, he’s ready for a home where he can feel safe, loved, and truly understood. Fully vetted, Chopo is neutered, up-to-date on shots, heartworm negative, and on yearly prevention. He’s great with basic commands—he's house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. At about 65-70 lbs, he loves bath time and especially enjoys cuddle sessions. Chopo can be playful and a bit energetic, adding to his charm. He thrives with kids and loves being close to his people. While he gets along with dogs, Chopo would do well in a thoughtful home. He tends to be nervous around new companions and requires gradual introductions. He has shown resource guarding tendencies around food and toys, so he would thrive as the only pet or with someone experienced in managing these behaviors. He may also mark indoors if he smells another male dog. Curiously, Chopo is interested in cats, but he hasn't been fully tested with them yet.
