About Sadie

Meet Sadie! Sadie is a sweet, affectionate young girl settling into foster care and searching for her forever family. At just about 1 year old and weighing 32 pounds, she’s a wonderful medium size and appears to be a mix of Australian Cattle Dog and Border Collie. Sadie loves people dearly. Friendly and loving, she’s a joy to handle, happiest when close to you. With plenty of youthful energy, she would thrive in an active family. Once the excitement winds down, she'll settle beautifully for a good nap and some cuddle time. While recovering from a mild upper respiratory infection, Sadie has shown positive interest in other dogs. It's important to have a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs to ensure everyone is comfortable. As an energetic girl who enjoys running and playing, a home with a securely fenced yard would be ideal for her. Sadie entered the shelter with her eight puppies and their father due to unfortunate circumstances, and while the papa dog and most of her babies have found homes, it’s her turn now. After caring for her little ones, this sweet mama is ready to be someone’s baby. Currently recovering from her URI, Sadie will be spayed before her adoption is finalized. However, she is available for a foster-to-adopt home, allowing her the chance to welcome her new family before her spay appointment. Once she's healthy and her spay is complete, her adoption can be finalized through Tillie’s Safe Haven. Sadie is a wonderful young dog with a lot of love to offer. Her playful and affectionate nature, along with her ability to bond with people, makes her a terrific companion. Could you be the forever family she’s been waiting for?
