Julio is a 6-year-old male Short Coat Chihuahua mix who's ready to charm your socks off. He's incredibly sweet and sociable, quickly making friends everywhere he goes. The moment you sit down, rest assured that Julio will be right there, eager to cuddle and soak up some attention. While he absolutely loves people, Julio is also friendly with other dogs, and likely gets along well with kids. He recently shined as an ambassador at a local event, and his calm nature was on full display as he greeted everyone, including some pretty unusual furry creatures like alpacas and rabbits. However, Julio does have some medical challenges. He has IVDD (intervertebral disc disease) and a heart condition, meaning he will require special care and ongoing medical attention. His future family must be prepared for his needs, but in return, Julio promises a bounty of affection and companionship. He’s ready to find his forever home where he can truly belong. Potential adopters can meet him on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between noon and 4 PM during our walk-in adoption days.
