Originally belonging to an elderly man who moved into a nursing home, Charlie has missed the constant presence of his owner and is searching for a new loving home. This poodle mix is incredibly loyal and prefers to be near his person, happily curling up in a lap or following from room to room. He does well with people and is not aggressive. Charlie would flourish with someone who can spend the majority of their day with him, such as a retiree or someone who works from home. This little dog loves walks and exploring outdoors. He enjoys the fresh air but always returns when called. He does have a mild anxiety issue when left alone too long. Although he's house trained, he may have occasional accidents if he feels particularly lonely. Due to his poodle genes, he doesn’t shed, and he gets regular grooming every 10 weeks. Charlie’s ideal home would be calm and filled with love; he isn't the best fit for busy households with young children.
