About Butterfly

Meet Butterfly, an 8-year-old Shih Tzu with a heartwarming backstory. She was rescued from a breeding situation where her value was only seen in her ability to produce puppies. Fortunately, she found her way to Mostly Muttz Rescue, where her life took a turn for the better. Butterfly is a devoted mom and has shown herself to be a gentle and sweet companion who thrives in the presence of her people. Now in foster care in Pennsylvania, Butterfly has captured the hearts of her current family, who rave about her charming personality. Calming and easygoing, she enjoys lounging in the sun, nestled on a soft bed, and staying close to her loved ones. Butterfly is potty trained and gets along wonderfully with dogs, children, and even cats. This sweet girl is fairly quiet, aside from her occasional alerts about squirrels. Although she's a little unsure on the leash, she rides well in the car and is working on crate skills. Butterfly does need regular grooming, so her future family should be ready to keep her looking her best. Butterfly deserves a loving home where she will be cherished for who she is.
