About Birdy
Birdy has spent a significant part of her young life caring for her kittens, and now it's her turn to receive some love. After living outside for at least two years, she was rescued along with her five babies just in time to escape the harsh summer heat. Immediately after meeting her new foster mom, Birdy eagerly requested pets, showing how affectionate she is despite her rough beginnings. Birdy is a wonderful mom, nurturing her kittens with patience as they use her as their playground. However, as they grow, Birdy is revealing her playful side. She enjoys toys, loves one-on-one attention, and is quite the talker, expressing herself with chirps and meows, especially when greeting someone. Transitioning to indoor life is an adjustment for her, but she’s making strides—taken to sitting beside her foster family on the couch and appreciating the comforts of home, like air conditioning and treats. Birdy is known to be good with other cats and children, eager for a home where she can get the attention she deserves. Her kittens—Chickadee, Dove, Wren, and Magpie—are also available for adoption, but Birdy doesn’t need to be adopted with one of them. After all her hard work raising them, she's ready to find her own forever home. This delightful girl hasn’t been spayed yet but is available for Foster2Adopt, which allows adopters to take her home now while spay arrangements are made later. Ready to meet her?
