About Leonardo

Meet Leonardo! Mr. Leo is a young, delightful dog weighing around 70 pounds, with a beautiful, silky medium coat. He seems to be a flat-coated Lab mix, possibly with some Australian Cattle Dog, making him truly unique. While Leo can be a tad shy initially, his loving and goofy personality shines through once he feels at ease. He adores his people, is eager to please, and loves nothing more than leaning in for pets and cuddles. A bit of a homebody, Leo enjoys car rides and has exemplary manners in public. Though new situations can make him a bit nervous, he’s gradually gaining confidence through ongoing support. On walks, he’s well-behaved and cherishes having his kennel as a personal sanctuary. He’s not much of a barker, greeting guests with a polite notification before settling back down. However, he finds the garbage truck to be a bit of a nemesis. Currently, he has a Frenchie foster friend to play with and has previously thrived among multiple dogs. His relationship with cats is still a question mark. Leo's quirky behaviors, like chatting with his backside during meals or having little arguments with his toys, only add to his charm. These are just part of what makes him the quirky, lovable Leo we know today. If you have space in your heart and home for a sweet, silly dog like Leonardo, he'd love to meet you.
