About Walter Skinner

Meet Walter Skinner, an adorable and spirited 10-week-old shepherd mix who brings joy wherever he goes. This little guy loves to play, follow you around, and snuggle up when he gets tired. He came into the rescue along with his brother Fox, both strays who have quickly adapted to the comforts of a foster home. Walter is eager to learn and very food motivated, mastering the 'sit' command in no time. He enjoys sitting right at the door where the food comes from, eager for mealtime. While heโ€™s adapting well to crate training and sleeps soundly at night, he is still working on potty training and gets easily distracted, particularly by fingers! Though he loves playful activities like tugging, fetch, and squeaking, toys are his best friends. While we don't know his precise breed mix, it likely includes some working breeds, meaning heโ€™ll thrive in a patient home that can keep him mentally stimulated. Walter gets along well with other dogs but prefers human companionship for all the belly rubs and throw sessions. Once heโ€™s played out, he loves curling up on laps for a cozy nap. If youโ€™re ready for some playful puppy love and training, Walter canโ€™t wait to meet you!
