About Basil

Meet Basil! Basil entered foster care as a tiny bottle baby along with his two siblings. He was lovingly cared for 24/7 until he was ready to wean. His sister is nearly adopted, but his brother, Parsley, is still on the lookout for a forever home too. This little guy has grown up in a lively and loving foster environment with other kittens, adult cats, and two dogs that weigh around 30 lbs. He’s been fantastic with children aged 3 and 6, showing his gentle nature with everyone around him. Basil embodies a delightful mix of sweetness, cuddliness, and independence. He relishes attention yet is content to enjoy some alone time. In his free moments, you’ll spot him playing with his favorite cat springs, climbing his cat tree, or curled up for peaceful naps. If you have Temptation treats, be prepared to win his heart! Basil is scheduled to be neutered on October 16th but is open for early adoption applications. Could he be the perfect addition to your family? Located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Basil is also available for transport to the northeast. His adoption fee is $300. Hit apply if you'd like to welcome Basil into your home!
