About Maxwell
Maxwell is a handsome Cane Corso, about 2 years old, who carries a gentle heart beneath his tough exterior. Abandoned at a shelter in Central California with his siblings, he faced a challenging start but has since come a long way. Initially shy, Maxwell needs time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, he becomes an affectionate companion. He thrives in a structured environment and has developed close bonds, especially with his best friend, a confident female Corso named Maka. Together, they enjoy playful moments, whether itβs running, wrestling, or splashing in the pool. Maxwell is house trained and loves a routine. Heβs also very dog friendly, and it's essential he goes to a home with another dog. His ideal adopter will have experience with Cane Corsos or similar guardian breeds, understanding the importance of rules and boundaries. While kids are untested in his presence, he seems best suited for older children at this time. This loving boy is ready to embrace the wonderful life ahead of him after all he has overcome.
