About Rocky

Rocky is a 3-year-old, 65-pound Lab mix with a charming underbite that hints at some Dogue de Bordeaux in his lineage. He arrived in rescue after his family lost their home, and while his sister has found a new family, Rocky is still waiting for his perfect match. This well-mannered guy is housebroken and exceptionally trained. He thrives on activity—whether it’s running, long walks, or backyard games, Rocky is ready to join in. He needs both physical activity and mental challenges to stay happy, so a fenced yard and a commitment to daily exercise are essential. He enjoys playtime with friendly dogs, especially those who can keep up with his energetic and enthusiastic wrestling style. With children in his past, Rocky is best suited for a home with teens or adults who can appreciate his lively personality. He’s also been pleasant around cats, but any potential feline friends should be dog-savvy for smooth transitions. Rocky is looking for a caring and consistent person who can keep up with his upbeat nature. He’s ready to showcase all his wonderful traits to the right adopter. If you're active and appreciate a well-trained companion, Rocky might be the perfect fit for you. Get ready to form a fantastic bond. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
