About Rocky

Rocky is a 3-year-old, 65-pound Lab mix with a charming underbite, hinting at a possible Dogue de Bordeaux in his lineage. This friendly canine arrived at the rescue after his family lost their home. While his sister has found her forever home, Rocky continues to wait for someone special to choose him. This active dog thrives on adventure. He enjoys runs, long walks, and engaging activities that challenge him both physically and mentally. If you’re someone who embraces outdoor activities, Rocky would love to join you. He’s housebroken, well-mannered, and notably well-trained, reflecting the effort put into his care. Rocky enjoys the company of friendly dogs who can match his playful wrestling style. He previously lived with children but would likely do best in a home with older kids or adults who can appreciate his high energy. While he’s shown a pleasant demeanor around cats, any introductions need to be handled carefully given his playful nature. This dog is looking for kindness, clarity, and consistency from his future owner. If you can establish a routine while offering him love and attention, Rocky will flourish. He’s ready to share his vibrant personality with the right companion. Don’t miss out on the chance to bring this wonderful dog into your life.
