About Rocky

Rocky is a 3-year-old, 65-pound Lab mix with a charming underbite that hints at possible Dogue de Bordeaux lineage. He arrived at rescue after his family lost their home, and while his sister has found a home, Rocky patiently awaits his turn. This well-mannered dog has excellent house skills and thrives on activity, so he's looking for someone who can offer daily exercise and mental challenges. Whether it's runs, long walks, or fun backyard games, he’s eager to participate. A fenced yard is essential for his energy-filled play style, which includes enthusiastic wrestling with sturdy dog pals. Smaller or more delicate dogs may find him too rambunctious. Rocky previously lived with children but would do best in a home with teens or adults who can match his energy. He's been friendly with cats, but they’ll need to be introduced carefully, as his playful spirit could be misread. A clear and consistent owner will bring out the best in Rocky, as he knows plenty and just needs someone to give him guidance. If you’re looking for an active companion who’s trained and ready to bond, Rocky may be the perfect match. He's waiting to show you just how wonderful he can be. Ready to fall in love?
