About Clair

Clair arrived at the shelter on April 29, 2026, bringing with her six tiny kittens, each in need of care. Through it all, Clair never wavered in her devotion as a mother, ensuring her babies received the love and attention they required. Now, while Clair's kittens have found their forever homes, she remains patiently waiting for the right family to choose her. At just over 2 years old, Clair has outgrown motherhood but retains her playful spirit. She still loves batting around toys, rolling in catnip, and soaking up all the affection she can get. When you first meet her, expect a few curious sniffs. Once she knows you’re a friend, her affectionate nature shines through as she leans into your hand for scratches. Clair knows how rewarding it is to build trust, and she will certainly make a delightful companion. After dedicating herself to others, it’s finally Clair's turn to be cherished. She has given so much love and protection; now, she desires the same in return. Could you be the one to provide this incredible mama with the happy ending she’s been waiting for? Come meet Clair at the Bluffton–Wells County Animal Shelter. She's ready to share her loving heart with a family of her own.
