Giovanni
AvailableGiovanni is a 6-month-old male puppy, possibly a mix of Great Dane and Yellow Labrador Retriever. He is currently in Richmond, MO and is not yet house trained. Though he hasn’t been fully evaluated, Giovanni is looking for a loving home that can provide the care he needs during his recovery. He stands at a medium size, with a beautiful red coloring and a tall, gangly appearance. Giovanni has not been spayed yet, and while he does not have any special needs, his adjustment to a new home will require patience.
About Giovanni
Giovanni and his siblings were found near a rural Missouri field, left to fend for themselves. Fortunately, good Samaritans intervened, rescuing three out of the four pups. With the help of dedicated volunteer dog trappers, the last one—Giovanni—was also brought to safety. These boys are currently thin and dealing with some eye issues. They are on their way to the vet for treatment, so foster homes are urgently needed. Each pup will need care, regular feeding, and affection while they recover. The rescue covers medical expenses, but it’s important for foster or adoptive homes to be able to transport them to Animal Clinic of the Woodlands in Gladstone when required. Giovanni is a tall, gangly-legged puppy who seems to be a mix of breeds, potentially a Great Dane and Yellow Labrador Retriever. He’s coming out of his shell and enjoys being petted. While he’s still a bit unsure around other dogs, he’s learning that playtime can be fun. If you can offer him a foster home or think you might want to adopt, please reach out immediately! Every little bit of care makes a difference as these pups heal.
