About Sulley

Meet Sulley, a charming five-year-old Australian Shepherd and Labrador Retriever mix located in Fairview, NC. His affectionate spirit shines through his golden coat with white accents, perfectly complemented by a herding-dog’s intellect and an eagerness for cuddles. Weighing in at 55 pounds, Sulley loves to curl up beside his favorite person. He thrives on sniffing adventures, especially after rain, enjoys working on chew toys like Kongs, and needs a securely fenced yard for running. Sulley has a delightful smile that adds to his endearing personality! Having completed professional training, he is proficient with commands like sit, stay, and drop. While he generally handles short separations well, Sulley benefits from routine, mental stimulation, and positive reinforcement. It's important to note that Sulley experiences significant anxiety and dog reactivity. He is easily triggered by loud noises, other dogs, and even wildlife, which has previously led to some aggressive reactions. For this reason, he will thrive best in an adult-only home without other pets. His new parent should have experience with anxious dogs and be ready to manage his needs effectively. Currently, Sulley is neutered, house-trained, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. He requires ongoing medication to manage his anxiety. Sulley is not suited for crating and can experience motion sickness on long drives. For the right match, Sulley offers loyalty, companionship, and lots of love.
