About Sterling
Meet Sterling—also known as “Wait Mr. Postman”! Don’t let his shelter name fool you; this little guy delivers packages of puppy kisses and love with a heart-shaped nose sure to melt anyone’s heart. At just 2 months old, Sterling is a mixed-breed cutie, likely a Pit Bull/Staffy mix, and he’s expected to grow into a medium-sized, lovable companion. Sterling is a cuddly and playful adventurer who adores his sister and his big foster brother, Zeus. His world revolves around wrestling, playing with every toy possible (especially balls), and enjoying meals—slow feeders are recommended. When he’s not being mischievous, he enjoys Netflix and relaxing cuddles, proving he’s truly mastered the puppy lifestyle of playing hard, napping harder. Currently, he’s full of energy and ready for action. While he loves playing with bigger dogs, he is still learning the ropes of dog socialization. A tolerant canine friend who can teach him boundaries would suit him well. He’s only beginning to understand about cats, so dog-savvy ones are best for him. He would thrive with older kids who can guide him through his playful, nibbly stage. Sterling is adapting well to potty training, often using pads, and he sleeps through the night in his crate, waking only when he needs to go out. A family knowledgeable about dog breeds would help him flourish as he grows. Sterling promises to bring lots of laughs, cuddles, and a bit of playful chaos into your life.
