About Salt is our special

Salt is our special boy, just 5-6 months old, who has emerged from a tough start in life. Found at a mere 6 weeks old, he and his siblings were cramped in a tiny cage with little love. Fortunately, Rock n' Rescue stepped in to bring them into foster care, showering them with the affection they so desperately needed. While his siblings, Pepper and Oregano, adapted quickly, Salt took a bit longer to trust. Now, he’s blossoming and enjoys playing with toys, receiving pets, and giving affectionate purrs. Given his past, Salt may feel anxious in new situations, so he would thrive best in a calm environment without chaotic activity or young children. Older, gentle kids are fine. While he hasn’t been around dogs, we know he gets along with other cats, making him a charming addition to any feline-friendly home. Patience will be key as Salt continues to adjust to life outside of his cage; he will thrive with understanding and love. He is fully vetted, neutered, and ready for his forever family. If you're in the Northeast and want to meet him, please apply today. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
