About Dunkin

Meet Dunkin! This gentle soul is on the lookout for a loving forever home after a traumatic past. He entered rescue when his home burned down, leaving him and his family homeless. Dunkin is an estimated five-year-old Chiweenie, weighing just around 10 lbs. Though he’s friendly with people and other dogs, he lacked socialization in his previous environment. Consequently, he requires a patient family that can reassure him he’s safe and not all new faces are frightening. A quiet home where he can enjoy short walks and then snuggle up would suit him perfectly. Dunkin needs stability and commitment, ensuring his world isn’t turned upside down again. He is currently in Alabama but making his way to Maine in early November. Please help Dunkin find his loving home! If you're considering adopting him, or want to get pre-approved, fill out an application on our website. Click apply to start the adoption process.
