About Casey

Casey is a gentle, 3-year-old female cat with beautiful, long, soft fur and a calm demeanor. Rescued from a high-kill shelter, she’s patiently waiting for a loving home where she can truly feel safe. This sweet girl spends her days in a cage, accepting soft pets and chin rubs while hoping for a person or family to choose her. She struggles with her shyness, but deep down, she longs for a nurturing environment—a quiet place with a comforting lap to call her own. Although Casey is FIV positive, she can thrive in a home where she’s the only cat, or possibly share space with other FIV-positive companions. All she needs is a gentle heart to help her learn about love and trust. If you’re ready to be Casey's hero, your kindness could finally allow her to feel at home.
