Chickadee is a beautiful domestic short hair kitten, born on August 6, 2026. This medium-sized, black and white (tuxedo) girl may be small, but she has a big heart. She is not yet spayed but is already house trained and up to date on vaccinations. Currently in Fort Worth, TX, she is ready for her forever home at a young age of two months.

About Chickadee

Chickadee is a sweet, gentle kitten who takes her time getting to know people. Initially a bit shy, she warms up and seeks out pets, snuggles, and playtime, making those moments feel special. Unlike her more rambunctious siblings, she often prefers to observe quietly, adding a contemplative charm to her personality. Very gentle by nature, Chickadee interacts softly and has never needed to learn that hands and toes aren’t for playing with. She'd thrive in a calmer home that allows her to settle in at her own pace. Chickadee enjoys the company of other cats and would likely appreciate having a friendly feline companion, though she is more independent than her siblings. While she does well with older children, her stance on dogs is still unknown. This little girl came to be with Meowtown following her mama Birdy, a porch cat who had her five kittens. While she is not yet spayed, Chickadee is ready for a Foster2Adopt arrangement, meaning you can adopt her and take her home while we arrange for spaying later. If you value a calm and gentle companion, Chickadee is the one for you.
