About Max

Max is a 5-year-old Standard Poodle eager to swap his barn-dog lifestyle for a cozy home where he can truly unwind and become your big, goofy snuggle buddy. Having spent much of his life as a barn dog, Max is now looking for a safe and loving environment after a difficult experience with another dog. He’s figuring out the world of indoor living, which can sometimes make him a bit awkward, but he’s learning fast. Max is incredibly sweet and enjoys cuddling, plus he has his playful moments filled with impressive zoomies. With a variety of toys, he's content to entertain himself. Max gets along with other dogs, especially when introductions are handled with care. He's still mastering potty training while adjusting to his new lifestyle indoors. He's set to receive professional on-leash training that will help his new family lay a solid foundation for his progress. While he may require a bit of patience as he gets adjusted, Max is just a loving, playful soul seeking safety and affection.
