Laverne is a sweet two-and-a-half-year-old tabby with a gentle spirit. As the devoted mother of Daisy, Rose, and Tiger Lily, she has transitioned from a life outdoors to being cared for in a warm foster home. While Laverne started out quite shy, she’s slowly learning to trust humans. She enjoys lounging in her window hammock, watching the world go by, and will softly purr when she's comfortable. Treats are also a highlight for her, and she’ll accept them from her foster family once she feels at ease. Though she keeps a watchful eye on her kittens, intervening when playtime gets a bit too rambunctious, she’s looking for a very specific kind of home. Laverne would flourish best in an adult-only environment with either Daisy or Tiger Lily, as she isn't suited for families with young children or other pets.
