About Papa

Meet Papa! Papa is a sweet, talkative boy who needs a bit of time and patience to adjust to new surroundings. Though he can be shy at first, he’s currently building his social skills and learning to trust people. Food motivates him, so tasty treats can go a long way in helping him gain confidence and bond with his new family. He will cuddle if you hold him, and as he gets comfortable, his playful, chattier side shines through. A patient adopter who understands he'll need time to come out of his shell would be perfect for him. Papa gets along well with calm dogs, and may even enjoy the company of a gentle canine buddy. If you're looking for a sweet companion who just needs a bit of understanding and love, Papa is waiting for you! The adoption fee is $350. Important: Transport meets in Brattleboro, VT. Complete an application to start the adoption process. For Pet's Sake Rescue is based in Mississippi, and all animals are currently in Mississippi. They transport adopted pets every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states, with fees covering transport, vetting, and a health certificate. Papa comes spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for fleas/ticks. Make a difference in Papa’s life and adopt him today!
