About Kensy
Meet Kensy! This sweet 3-year-old Belgian Malinois mix has made great strides since her rescue from an overcrowded Houston shelter. Spayed, vaccinated, and fully house trained, Kensy is eager to find her forever family. Weighing in at about 46 lbs, Kensy is both active and affectionate, forming deep bonds with those she trusts. While she may initially be a bit unsure of strangers, her loving and devoted nature shines through as she warms up. Kensy gets along well with dogs of all breeds and sizes, handling encounters on leash with grace. She's respectful and non-confrontational, preferring to interact peacefully. Although she isn't overly playful with other dogs, her confidence has increased significantly since her rescue. This clever girl is full of energy and enjoys playing fetch for hours. A home that values activity and can offer her mental enrichment will suit her perfectly. She walks beautifully on a leash, loves swimming, and is excellent at car rides with a seatbelt. Being a smart working breed, Kensy will thrive in an experienced home with a yard and ongoing support for her obedience training. Itβs best if her new caretaker understands the needs of a Malinois so Kensy can flourish. While she has excellent crate training skills, keep in mind she'll need a sturdy, secure crate to prevent escapes. Currently being fostered in Mooresville, NC, Kensy can't wait to meet her new family. If you're ready to embrace this intelligent pup, apply to adopt her and start your journey together!
