About Top Hat

Top Hat is an exceptionally handsome boy searching for a special home. Born around June 12, 2026, he survived early illness that sadly took his mother and littermates. This left him with lifelong balance and coordination challenges, including crossed eyes. Despite these hurdles, Top Hat wiggles around with an energetic spirit and loves to play, though his difficulties become apparent when climbing or at heights. Safety is a top priority for Top Hat, and his new home will need to accommodate his balance issues. He thrives on opportunities to explore but needs sturdy, low climbing options to prevent falls. Although he might gain strength, his condition is stable, and he’ll need careful attention throughout his life. Affectionate and friendly, Top Hat has been neutered and vaccinated. He enjoys human company and would thrive in a home with another playful cat. He gets along well with other animals and children aged nine and older. For potential adopters, Top Hat is being fostered in Aurora, CO, and you may need to visit twice: first to meet him and then to bring him home.
