About Clarice

Meet Clarice. Don’t let her shy demeanor deceive you—Clarice is a resilient and tenacious mama cat. She was found with her newborn kittens, and regardless of their rocky start, Clarice has proven to be an amazing mom, ensuring her little ones are safe and nurtured. At about 5–6 years old, Clarice is ready to trade her maternal duties for a loving forever home. She has the cutest froggy meow and enjoys running and playing with her kittens. Engaging in conversation with her foster mom is something she relishes. As she gradually comes out of her shell, it’s heartwarming to witness her enjoying life. When it comes to other cats, Clarice can be a bit tentative initially but adjusts quickly to younger ones. However, adult cats may take more time; she’ll need slow, patient introductions. With the right setup, she could thrive alongside feline friends. One thing is for sure: Clarice is not a fan of dogs. She would flourish best in a dog-free environment where she can relax, play, and continue blossoming into the sweetheart she is. After everything she has endured, Clarice is prepared for her next chapter—a safe, loving home where she can finally be pampered as someone’s cherished pet. Clarice is currently in a foster home. If you’re interested in meeting her, please send a message or email adopt@ahsem.org. The adoption fee is $175, which includes spay surgery, age-appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, and wellness care. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
