About Major

Major is a cheerful and affectionate 6-year-old who will win you over with his infectious smile. He's an energetic dog who enjoys car rides, long walks, and plenty of playtime. You’ll often see him trotting around with a loose, wiggly wag, but he also knows when to settle down, happily curling up on the couch with his loved ones at the end of the day. He’s already mastered commands like sit, stay, wait, and leave it, showing that he has a knack for learning. Major is food-motivated and loves belly rubs, plus he enjoys playing with toys and chew items. Having spent only three months in his previous home, he’s still revealing his full personality at the shelter. He’s been sweet and easygoing so far. This friendly dog would thrive in a home with older, calmer children or with adults who can give him some space. Introducing him to other dogs should be done properly, as he’s yet to meet any. His reaction to cats is still untested. Major’s adoption fee is generously waived, thanks to sponsorship from Fox Motors Marquette. If you’re searching for a loving companion ready for a new chapter, Major could be the perfect match for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
