About Smoky

Smoky has come a remarkable way since arriving at Chaos Central. At just 5.5 months old, he was terrified, even seeking refuge in a hole in a wall. The team worked patiently with Smoky, introducing friendly kitties to build his confidence, and eventually, he began to join them in the main space. Now, Smoky spends the majority of his time surrounded by people, other cats, and dogs. He actively seeks out human affection and enjoys being petted, although he’s still not comfortable being picked up. Smoky would thrive in a home with a gentle, playful cat companion and needs an adopter who will continue to foster his growth as he builds his confidence. Due to his shy nature, Smoky won’t attend open adoption events, but he’s open to private meet and greets with approved adopters. From being stuck in a wall to enjoying life, Smoky is ready for his forever home.
