About Ruby

Ruby is a charming tan-and-sable puppy who is starting to resemble her mom, Raven, more and more. With her classic Shepherd-mix look and a touch of scruffy charm inherited from Raven, Ruby is a playful spirit brimming with puppy energy. Rescued along with her six siblings after being abandoned off Rockwell Road, Ruby is now about 4 months old and is expected to grow into a medium to large-sized dog. While her exact breed mix isn’t clear, she appears to be a blend of Shepherd and possibly Lab, with some hints of poodle in her lineage. Socialized around dogs, cats, and children, Ruby has done well with everyone she’s met. She is currently completing her veterinary care, including being spayed and up to date on vaccines, and will be ready for her forever home by mid to late September. Families interested in adopting Ruby can apply now. She's fostering in Delaware County, PA, and approved applicants from multiple states can welcome her into their homes.
