About Duke
Meet Duke! Duke is an adorable 5-month-old Chihuahua mix weighing around 5 pounds. This tiny guy still has some growing to do, but we expect him to stay under 10 pounds when fully grown. With rescue pups, we can never guarantee adult size or breed, but we’re pretty confident he’ll remain a charming little companion. Raised in foster care, Duke has a fun, playful personality. He loves his toys, bones, and all the puppy-approved goodies that come his way. He gets along great with both big and small dogs, and he’s even good with cats! While having another playful, smaller dog in his forever home could be a fun match, it’s not a requirement. Duke is outgoing and friendly once comfortable. He’s a tad shy when meeting new people, but it doesn’t take long for him to warm up and show off his sweet, playful side. He’s eager to make friends and soak up all the love! Being a puppy, Duke is still learning the basics of house and crate training. His new family will need to continue the routine to help him succeed. He’s smart and has started off wonderfully in foster care; now he just needs someone dedicated to guiding him. Duke is already neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and will have his health certificate ready for adoption. If you're looking for a pint-sized best friend with a bubbly personality, Duke might be your guy! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
