Hemi is an 8-year-old male American Staffordshire Terrier, medium-sized, with a coat of gray, blue, and silver. He is spayed and vaccinated, and he is house trained. Hemi loves people and enjoys leisurely walks, making him a gentle and affectionate companion living in Bakersfield, CA.

About Hemi

Hemi was found exhausted by the side of the road in January 2021, struggling with a cinched string around his neck and a front leg that had healed crooked from multiple fractures. Against all odds, he remains trusting and eager for affection. He enjoys spending time with people and settles well once he's out of his kennel. Grooming and nail trims are a breeze for this little guy, and he responds well when called. Hemi benefits from leisurely walks to keep stress at bay and loves the water, making swimming an excellent way for him to burn off some energy. Socially, Hemi is great with other dogs and is being introduced to playgroups, though he hasn't been tested with cats. While we do our best to provide him a good life, nothing compares to finding his forever family. We hope to see Hemi blossom into the companion he was meant to be.
