About Hershey

Hershey was recently returned to the shelter when his family could no longer care for him. He was deeply loved in his previous home and deserves a second chance to find a loving family again. Weighing in at 107 pounds, this big boy isnโ€™t aware of his sizeโ€”he believes heโ€™s much smaller! Hershey is selective with dogs but previously lived well with another dog. He has experience with small children and did great with them, so he can fit well into a family environment. Treats make training easier; he knows sit, down, and paw. He also met a tester cat here at the shelter and did okay, but we recommend slow, supervised introductions with any cats in his new home. Hershey is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. If youโ€™re ready to give him the forever home he craves, apply to adopt today!
