About Bambi

Bambi is a lovely, four-year-old mixed-breed dog who will surely steal your heart. At 50 pounds, she fits well into the medium size category, making her an ideal companion for many families. Her gentle and sweet nature shines through in everything she does. Bambi has recently enjoyed outings where she showed her wonderful temperament around people and other dogs. During one recent event at the park, she interacted beautifully, even with a few overenthusiastic dogs. While she did bark at one of them, her overall demeanor remained calm and friendly. Bambi handled a bustling environment filled with kids and loud music like a pro. In foster care, Bambi has proven to be a well-mannered housemate, relaxing at the foot of the couch and keeping her space tidy. She’s fully house-trained and crate-trained, and she's great at signaling when she needs to go outside. Enthusiastic about training, she’s learning commands like sit, stay, and leave it. She responds well to treats, especially hot dogs, which makes training enjoyable for her! Bambi loves to snuggle and is a true cuddle buddy. She prefers to curl up at your feet after a fun day of playing. However, she does need a home without cats, as her interactions with them should be avoided. If you have another dog, a meet and greet is necessary to ensure they’ll get along. Bambi's kind-hearted personality would make her a wonderful addition to your home. She is especially fond of children and is always eager to make new friends, both human and canine. With her beautiful blonde eyelashes, she truly is a ray of sunshine!
