About Madrid

Madrid is a gentle 5-month-old mixed breed pup weighing about 12 pounds. Though she's a bit fearful, she’s eager to learn about the world around her. Madrid has been working with our Behavior Team, but the shelter environment isn’t the best for her progress. Recently, she found out that she absolutely loves cheese, which is helping her open up and start trusting new people! For her ideal foster home, she needs a quiet atmosphere without children, or only dog-savvy ones who can respect her space. A friendly, confident dog would be a great companion for her as she gains confidence. Madrid requires support in socialization, leash walking, and adapting to home life. Training guidance will be provided to help her along this journey to become her best self. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
