About Bernie

Bernie is a charming 3-month-old Chihuahua mix, tipping the scales at just 2 pounds. He's a fawn-colored little guy with a heart ready to love. Rescued from a crowded home with 18 dogs, he found solace in the care of a wonderful foster family. While he's learning the ropes of indoor living, he's still getting used to being a pampered pooch. An adequately fenced yard is a must for him, as he was primarily an outdoor dog. Bernie is eager to find his forever home where he can thrive. We ask for patience as he adapts to new surroundings and routines. Due to his small size, it’s best that he goes to a home without children under six. He knows the command "come" and has shown he easily gets along with other dogs. Currently, Bernie is vaccinated and scheduled to be neutered soon.
