About Adelia
*** ADELIA IS BEING FOSTERED IN WESLACO, TEXAS *** Meet Adelia — a charming young dog eagerly searching for her forever home. Adelia is a mix of Terrier and Chihuahua, adorably apricot and beige, and she’s around a year and a half old. This sweet girl gets along well with children, cats, and other dogs. In fact, she thrives with canine companions and would love to have friends to play with in a warm, active household. Adelia has a gentle nature but can be a bit shy, needing a patient family to help her build trust. She’s kennel and house trained, although she does experience some anxiety and can chew things she shouldn’t. Fortunately, she has been responding well to a deterrent spray to curb that behavior. For her safety, it's ideal to keep her in a kennel when left alone. While she's not quite ready to be your immediate lap dog, with love and understanding, Adelia will learn to open up, revealing her affectionate side. She has been spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Having completed her heartworm treatment, she’s ready for a fresh start. If you’re looking for a loving and compassionate companion, consider giving Adelia the time she needs to blossom. Click apply to start the adoption process.
