Meet Miss Peach! This clever and playful 4-month-old female Shepherd mix was rescued by animal control in Sterling Heights. Since joining her foster family, she's charmed everyone with her goofy antics and bright personality. At about 20 pounds, Peach is crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night. She's nearly fully house trained, with only the occasional slip-up when she’s eager for attention. She’s learning her name and can sit on command, even if her happy wiggles make it a bit wobbly. With a little guidance and some treats, she quickly picks up new tricks. When playtime is over, she loves to cuddle up for some quality snuggle time. Peach gets along well with cats and enjoys being around kids. She's still honing her manners and may get a bit mouthy when overstimulated or tired, so a gentle correction or a nap in her crate usually does the trick.
