Olive — a quiet little sweetheart who learned that people can be safe, loving, and wonderful. ❤️ Olive and her bonded brother, Ollie, were rescued and brought to the shelter when they were still learning how to trust people. They arrived as little “spicy” kittens, unsure about human hands and understandably cautious about this whole new world. But with patience, consistency, and lots of love, they were socialized successfully—and just in time. Today, Olive is a completely different kitten. Once she trusts you, she is an absolute lovebug who melts into affection and enjoys being close to the people she knows. Olive is a gentle, peaceful girl who prefers to take life at her own pace. She can still be a little reserved when something is new, but once she decides you are her person, her sweet personality comes shining through. She loves affection on her terms and will reward you with the sweetest purrs when she is being pampered. One of Olive’s favorite places to sleep is at the foot of the bed, where she can be close to her people while still having her own cozy little space. She also loves round scratchers, tunnels, and little hideaways. These cozy spots give her the perfect place to relax and quietly observe everything happening around her. Olive gets along beautifully with other cats, but her most important feline relationship is with Ollie. They went through their early days of uncertainty together, and their bond has remained incredibly special. They play, relax, and share their world together. Olive and Ollie are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Their journey from spicy little rescue kittens to affectionate, trusting companions is something truly special—and they deserve to continue that journey side by side.
