About Buck

Meet Buck, a spirited 6.5-year-old lab mix weighing around 45 pounds. He recently experienced a heartfelt goodbye from his previous family and is now ready to find a new home. Buck is outgoing and already making friends with volunteers at the shelter. Having spent his life around children, he thrives in that environment. Buck enjoys the company of other dogs, but he needs proper introductions to avoid any misunderstandings. While he has not encountered cats yet, he does have a bit of food bowl aggression, so he needs to be fed separately. This playful boy loves games, especially tug-of-war with his favorite rope toy. Buck canโ€™t wait to meet his new family. Are you available this weekend to visit him? The ARK is located at 477 State Route 26, Lacon, IL. Call 309-246-4275 for more information. Buck and other pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
