About Runner
Meet Runner. Runner is an 11-year-old, 3.4 lb teacup Chihuahua who has perfected the art of being tiny, fabulous, and absolutely convinced she belongs in your arms. Almost entirely hairless, Runner has decided that clothes are the answer to her unique look, and we support her fashionable choices. This little diva wants to be carried everywhere. In your arms, in a carrier, wherever you go—she wants to be by your side. A true Velcro baby, she has big eyes, big ears, and plenty of kisses. She also exhibits just enough attitude to let you know when you've gone a tad too long without holding her. Runner can be intimidated by pushy dogs, so she would prefer a calm, respectful small dog who knows boundaries. Good news for cat lovers—she gets along well with cats and rides wonderfully in the car as long as she’s close to you. Though she is not fully housebroken, she does use pee pads. As she is only 3.4 lbs, she cannot be outside unattended. Additionally, Runner is not a fan of young children and is looking for a home with older, respectful teens and up. When it’s time for bed, Runner curls up in her little bed and drifts off to sleep. She is tiny, slightly silly, a bit vocal, incredibly cute, and she knows it well. This little queen seeks a home that wholeheartedly supports her desire to be carried around. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
