About Bama
Meet Bama! Bama is a charming 6.5-year-old, 50-lb Australian Cattle Dog/Terrier mix. She's truly the model of a good house dog. Bama adores people, loves cuddles, and greets you with full-body wiggles when you walk through the door. She’s completely housebroken, settles well in her crate—though she might whine briefly—and is quickly picking up basic commands. With a low energy level, Bama enjoys lounging on the couch and appreciates her walks. We're working on her pulling skills, but she loads up in a vehicle like a pro and loves to soak up the sun. Bama is great with kids and remains calm around dogs when out and about or across a fence. While she coexists well with dogs, she has clear boundaries and would need a dog that respects them, along with a family prepared to introduce them gradually. On the other hand, she’s not a fan of cats. A secured yard would be ideal for her, and she would definitely enjoy having a doggy door to wander in and out for some sunbathing before snuggling back on the couch. Bama is searching for a companion who appreciates a mature dog, serene evenings at home, and occasional sunny walks. She doesn't require constant attention but loves her people and all the cuddles they can give. Could Bama be the perfect addition to your family? Start your journey together! Apply now.
