About Miss Thing D

Meet Luma, affectionately called Miss Thing, a pit bull mix who truly shines in every situation. Whether you're ready for an adventure or a cozy night on the couch, she is there for you—perhaps softly snoring as you both unwind. Luma adores the outdoors. She finds joy in rolling in the grass or exploring her neighborhood on walks, although her activity level is moderate; a few good walks or a fenced yard is what she prefers. More than anything, Luma craves companionship. She’s a loyal shadow, always by your side, whether you're cooking dinner or relaxing in front of the TV. Her affectionate nature makes every moment special, especially when you come home to her joyful, hopping welcome. Luma knows basic commands and is great at waiting patiently for her food. Crate-trained and decent on a leash, she enjoys getting out for walks. While Luma has done well with the small dog in her foster home, she may prefer being the only dog or requires an experienced adopter to help manage her reactions to new canine friends. That said, her success with her foster sibling shows she can coexist happily with others. Luma loves bones, blankets, and soaking up sunshine.
