About Mojo

Meet Mojo, the most affectionate German Shepherd you'll ever encounter. After being surrendered to a high-kill shelter in Houston, she found herself on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, some dedicated volunteers advocated for her, and a wonderful foster family stepped in just in time to save her. Mojo has gone through FHO surgery and has shown incredible resilience during her recovery. Her joyful spirit lights up her foster home, making every day feel like an adventure. Whether by your side on a road trip, during neighborhood walks, or just lounging at home, Mojo loves to be where her people are. She's a cuddle bug who adores children and greets everyone she meets with an open heart. While she can get a bit excited—which sometimes leads to love nibbles—it's all in good fun. She's respectful around other dogs, although she does better with slow introductions. Mojo has shown she can protect her food, so her new family needs to establish clear boundaries to ensure her success. With moderate energy, Mojo enjoys outdoor time as much as she relaxes indoors. Potty and kennel trained, she can be trusted loose in the house. Though she barks occasionally at passing dogs on walks, she is easy to handle on a leash. Mojo, at about 3 years old and weighing 61 lbs, is looking for her forever home. She's spayed, fully vetted, and her adoption fee is $600, covering transportation to many areas across the country. Don’t wait—she's one of those rare, once-in-a-lifetime dogs. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
