About Carter

Carter is an adult Australian Shepherd mix who just joined our facility. He’s got an intriguing personality and a friendly demeanor, although he can be a bit too eager to make new friends. So, a home with a fenced yard would be ideal to prevent him from wandering off in search of companions. Carter has a pronounced prey drive, which means he’ll do best in a home without small animals, cats, or smaller dogs. However, he gets along well with dogs his size and larger, and he has shown a fondness for children as well. With his medium coat and striking red and white colors, he’s a handsome addition to any family. If you’re interested in meeting him, please complete the adoption questionnaire to set up an appointment. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
